Practical access features.
The toolkit uses semantic headings and landmarks, a skip link, native labelled controls, visible focus and responsive layouts. Header dropdowns and FAQs use native expandable details. Results receive keyboard focus after calculation; custom errors use an alert. No animation, microphone, visual chart or drag-and-drop interaction is required.
The requested palette.
Background #F9E6A8, accent #F2A900, secondary #CC6F00 and dark #4D2A00 are used throughout. Main text stays dark on light or amber surfaces; the secondary colour is mainly a border or decorative accent rather than small text on the light background. Information is expressed in words, not colour alone. Native controls and forced-colours modes may use system colours.
Keyboard and small screens.
Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move through controls, Enter or Space to toggle a menu or FAQ and Escape to close an open header menu. All Tools includes six direct links and the index. Navigation wraps when needed and menus fit narrow screens. Browser zoom and device accessibility settings remain available.
Forms and result formats.
Inputs show ranges, units and optional-field instructions. Native browser validation supplements custom checks for ordered cost ranges, paired dimensions and ambiguous clock times. Results are selectable text with a plain-text download and browser print layout. Checklist labels can be clicked or reached by keyboard. Print dialogs, PDF saving, file handling and autofill are partly outside the website’s control.
Testing does not equal certification.
The interface is checked in Chromium at desktop and mobile sizes. This is not a full WCAG conformance audit or a guarantee for every assistive technology, browser, extension or theme/plugin combination. The operator should test the full installation and address barriers introduced by custom content or other services.
Report a barrier.
Use Contact with the page, control, action, browser and assistive technology, and explain a helpful alternative format. Avoid identifying home or health details. The operator should review reasonable access requests; no specific response time is promised.
