Behind the result - No mystery in the method
The first reminder is the entered date. Weekly and two-weekly reminders add 7 or 14 calendar days. Monthly reminders keep the original day number, clamped to the last day of a shorter month, so January 31 can lead to February 28 and then March 31. The schedule includes dates on or before the start date plus the entered number of calendar months. Dates use calendar arithmetic, not a timezone, weather feed or device notification. Area choice changes the care prompts, not the frequency. This tool does not infer pipe condition, choose a professional service interval or schedule an appointment.
The tool does not fetch live prices, diagnose a hidden sewer problem or book a service. Blank optional fields are omitted. Text is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML.
The result is a working note. Review it before use; changing an input clears the previous result. A download stays on your device until you delete it. This website cannot assess conditions behind walls or underground.
Before you go
Does the planner send alerts or book maintenance?
No. It creates a dated text plan in the page. Download or print it and add reminders to a calendar yourself if useful. It does not request notification permission or contact a contractor.
What happens when the date is the 29th, 30th or 31st?
For monthly reminders the original day is preserved where possible and clamped to the last valid day in shorter months. The next longer month returns to the original day rather than drifting from February’s date.
Should I put chemical treatments on this schedule?
The supplied reminders do not recommend drain chemicals. Never mix products, and do not add a new product where an earlier one may remain. Follow a qualified professional’s instructions for the actual installation.
Does regular checking prevent every blockage?
No. Hidden sewer damage, roots, structural defects and other problems cannot be excluded by a reminder list. Returning clogs, sewage backup or flooding require professional attention rather than waiting for the next reminder.
